Purpose of the Group

As you know, London can be a lonely and isolating city. Even in the midst of millions of people we can still feel disconnected and alone.

I’ve created Writing, Coffee and Conversation to help people reconnect. To realise they aren't actually alone.

That there are like-minded people who are ready to meet in a warm, friendly space. To connect and write. To explore thoughts and feelings. And to gain insight and clarity.

How We Meet

We meet at selected, bespoke cafés and interesting venues in London. Sometimes the venue itself is the prompt for our exploration. The aim is to discover more about ourselves through poetry, expressive writing and, of course, conversation. While we enjoy coffee (or tea).

You don’t need to have written creatively before or worry about spelling or grammar. You just need to be open to sharing, reflecting and experimenting with words in a supportive space.

For Organisations and Groups

Writing, Coffee and Conversation is also a great space to help organisations and charities navigating specific issues such as bereavement, dementia, substance misuse.

These group conversations and workshops can be tailor-made for schools, faith groups, youth groups and women's groups.

Contact me if you would like me to facilitate an insightful, interactive, and thought provoking workshop at a conference or for your organisation.
