Couples Counselling

Couples Counselling

You or your partner recognise you need some help. Accepting that there are difficulties, small or large, in your relationship or marriage is often hard to come to terms with. Seeking help shows you are both committed and willing to work things out.

Couples counselling offers an opportunity to help you and your partner identify and explore the conflict issues within your relationship whilst gaining confidence in expressing your needs and wants to each other, without ending up in another argument.

When couples come for counselling, some feel nervous, apprehensive and unsure of what to expect. Couples counselling will help you look closely at the dynamics of your relationship and decide what changes are necessary so you both feel happy in your relationship. When both parties are committed, couples counselling can help to heal, past hurts and improve your relationship.

Person Centred Counselling
The way I help is through a “person-centred”. This approach, developed by psychologist Carl Rogers, focuses on the belief that every individual has the internal resources they need for growth.

If you both value personal responsibility, and want to explore your feelings - rather than looking for extensive advice or a diagnosis for what you are both experiencing - then my approach will work well for you.

You will both discover that I don’t work from a script. And I have no set questions to ask you. You choose what you wish to focus on, and I work with whatever you both bring to the conversation. And at your own pace.

Perhaps you have more questions about how I work. Or what you can expect from the process. If you do, you can contact me here for a fee-free 20-minute consultation. Then you can decide if you think I could be the right fit for you both.

Our First Session

If you decide to go ahead with me, you can book your first session. In that session, you will both discover if counselling is right for you at this time. And if I’m the right counsellor for you both. You and your partner are not obligated to continue with me. And you may want to meet with other counsellors before you decide who is best for you.

Telephone and Face to Face Counselling

I offer face to face counselling at One Space Enfield Therapy Centre in Enfield Town. And online counselling across the UK and internationally.

My fees:

  • Online Counselling £130.00 Per 50-minute session.
  • In Person Counselling £145.00 Per 50-minute session.
